1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lumen Supply Chain OS platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including operators, administrators, and client accounts.

2. Description of Service

Lumen SCOS is a cloud-based supply chain operating system that provides shipment management, fulfillment, billing, document management, notifications, and client portal features for freight forwarders, sourcing agents, trading companies, and 3PLs.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in USD. All plans include a 3-day free trial with no credit card required.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization
  • Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform. Lumen does not claim ownership of your shipment data, documents, or business information. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, third-party services, or force majeure events.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data remains accessible for 90 days. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted. You may request a data export before deletion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
